place at the PowderMills Hotel, Battle and will be a showcase
celebrating Print - An exhibition of limited edition prints and

An exhibition of works which encounter print; curated by Brenda
Hartill R E, who will be inviting artists distinguished in different
aspects of print, together with a small group of PURE ARTS GROUP
selected artists, to participate and exhibit.

Talk: "What is an Original print" - Monday 9th April
There will be a discussion, led by Brenda Hartill, on the nature of
an artist's original print, and how to tell the difference between
that and a reproduction, aimed at Printmakers and collectors.

showcase artwork by all of our annually selected and invited artists.
Exhibited artwork will be for sale in the region of £100-£5,000
at this annual
juried
exhibition with awards.

The ART FAIR will be operated in a Gallery format and will be
curated by Lesley Samms. All work will be hung by and the
exhibition staffed and managed by the organisers.
Private Views Thursday 13th and Saturday 15th September 2012.
Opens to the general public Friday the 14th September a1 10am.
Open Daily 10am - 6pm
Admission Free
The 2012 selection panel will be announced shortly
A total prize fund of £3,000 will be awarded, in the
following categories:
Best Overall Artist £1,000
Best Painting £300
Best Drawing £300
Best Original Print £300
Best Photograph £300
Best Sculpture or 3D £300
Best Emerging Artist £500 sponsored by the PowderMills Hotel
The Pure Arts Group Award for outstanding contribution to the
Exhibition.
All Winning Artists will also be given the opportunity to exhibit
with Pure Arts Group at PURE Fine Art London 2012; a special
event to take place at the Saatchi Gallery, Duke of York’s HQ,
Chelsea on 28, 29, 30 September 2012.
