What artists say about Pure: "I can't recommend their endlessly encouraging endeavours highly enough" show more | show less Information for Artists Pure Arts Group annually present a calendar of seasonal exhibition events, including: The PURE Autumn BATTLE ART FAIR, which is an annual showcase exhibition with Awards, where all annually selected artists exhibit and The PURE Spring Art Fair, which is an exhibition frequently based around an artistic method or medium, where relevant annually selected artists exhibit, together with guest artists - The 2013 PURE Spring Art Fair will focus on Photography. Pure Arts Group work closely with Galleries and Art Agents. Our principle is collaboration, continually feeding and refreshing the art marketplace. Our business aims to facilitate growth and inspire the public and art community alike. We select artists not artwork and submissions open annually on the 1st April every year. We annually select approximately 60 artists from London, the South East region and near Europe (France, Belgium and Holland) For the selection submission, artists are required to submit jpeg images of 3 pieces of work completed since 1 Jan 2009. These can be Sold works and should be a reflection of the artists current practice. The work can be a mixture of styles or all within a theme or body of work. The choice will not be relevant to selection, however, it should be noted all submitted pieces will be judged in their own right as individual artworks unless denoted as diptych or tryptch. Submissions can be in any media except Video (see FAQs/rules, for further information). We strongly recommend artists have their artwork professionaly photographed for this submission selection process. Submission deadline: 3rd June 2012 Selection judging takes place annually in early June and selected artists will be notified by latest 16th June. We always try to communicate with all submitting artists and, where relevant, give feedback, however, this is not always possible and is dependent on the number of annual submissions. Once Selected, artists are required to submit 3 pieces of artwork for sale at the Pure Autumn Art Fair exhibition and thereafter online. Following on from the Autumn Art Fair, inclusion into all further Pure events/exhibitions for the selected year are by invitation and are at the choice and discretion of the individual artists. With regard to the PURE Autumn BATTLE ART FAIR showcase exhibition; In August selected artists are required to submit 3 pieces of specific work each (further editions will be permitted), within the price range £200 - £5,000, for exhibition, judging and sale. Selected artists are invited to submit for ongoing Artist-in-Residence opportunities as they become available. These residencies are designed to support new and emerging artists in their chosen field. In 2012, PURE Autumn BATTLE ART FAIR Award Winning Artists will also be invited to exhibit with Pure Arts Group at the PURE Fine Art London Art Fair, which is a special event taking place at the end of September at the Saatchi Gallery, SW3.
