Mental Health & Wellbeing

Many visual artists work independently, often without structured support systems. Building small, consistent wellbeing habits can make a significant difference to both creative output and long-term sustainability.

May invites us to slow down. As artists, our minds are our most powerful tools, but they need care too. This month, take time to rebalance, reconnect, and create without pressure. In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month and World Meditation Day (21 May), we are focusing on gentle practices that support wellbeing alongside creativity.
