Diana Havenhand is an artist based in London. Portraiture and landscapes/cityscapes are her main interests. She works primarily in oils, although drawing is an important part of her practice. She is currently interested in how memory, possessions, photographs, everyday events and personal history inform identity, particularly in the context of dementia and ageing. By capturing small moments in life she wants the viewer to find recognition and familiarity in the everyday, while reflecting on the unreliability of memory.
