Lucy has explored other species professionally as a  lm maker, academic, behaviour consultant, and artist for over 30 years. Over this time, she has been privileged to work with a diverse range of species from great apes to otters, big cats to red foxes, and many domestic animals too. Her inspiration lies in getting beneath the surface of an animal – understand what makes each one ‘tick’ as a unique being. Within her sculpture work, she strives to capture something of the energy of each individual animal in its natural state.
